Fundó su primera empresa de manera independiente con tan solo 16 años, ahora conocida como José Sánchez Comercial.

A story of vision and effort
Sánchez Business & Corp. is the fruit of the effort and dedication of successful businessman and entrepreneur José Sánchez Polanco. He began his career in business at approximately 12 years old. He founded his first company independently at just 16 years old, now known as José Sánchez Comercial.

Founder and President of Sánchez Business & Corp.
Originally from the eastern region of the Dominican Republic, José Sánchez Polanco began his entrepreneurial career at the age of 16 with the opening of La Quisqueyana, a modest furniture and appliance store in Higüey. In 1978, he founded José Sánchez Comercial, C. por A., a company that quickly became a leader in the import and sale of furniture and appliances in the eastern region of the country.
In 1991, he expanded his business scope with the acquisition of Refrigeración Antillana, C. por A., consolidating his national presence with up to 20 branches and operations in several provinces in the east and Cibao. With a portfolio of more than 19,000 retail customers and more than 400 wholesale customers, the company became one of the leading importers of prestigious brands. Later, he integrated Lily Muebles under this same corporate structure, reaffirming his leadership in the sector.
In 1994, he was recognized with the National Order of Merit by the Dominican Cultural Movement (MCD) for his contribution to the country's commercial development.
In the early 2000s, he redirected his strategic vision toward the real estate sector, achieving notable success. Among his most notable projects is the development of the Ciudad del Sol housing complex, with more than 1,300 units delivered and more than 1,000 additional units under development.
In addition to his business work, José Sánchez Polanco has been an active contributor to various social, commercial, and tourism organizations. He has served on the Bávaro–Punta Cana Business Council and the Verón–Punta Cana Economic and Social Council. He was president of the Lions Club in 1982, founder of the Salvaleón Club of Higüey, and the Union of Representatives of La Altagracia Province. He currently chairs the La Altagracia Tourism Business Alliance (ALETA). He also promoted the construction of the Higüey children's park.
He currently leads Sánchez Business & Corp, a diversified business group focused on strategic real estate projects that drive economic and urban development in the Dominican Republic.
A graduate in Business Administration from the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE), she complemented her academic training with an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Barna Management School. She joined Sánchez Business & Corp. in 2003, holding various strategic roles that led her to become the company's Executive Vice President.
Throughout her career, she has demonstrated strong leadership, business vision, and a constant commitment to growth and innovation within the group. Her performance has been recognized with important distinctions, such as the Sales Performance Award (2016) and the "Diamond Collaborator" award (2023), given for her excellence and valuable contribution to organizational development.
In addition to her work within the company, she is actively involved in the national business community. She is a member of the Eastern Zone Business Alliance (ALETA) and the National Association of Young Entrepreneurs (ANJE). In 2024, he represented ALETA before the Senate, where he addressed key issues for the economic development of the Eastern region.
Thanks to his strategic approach, experience, and leadership skills, he has established himself as a key figure in strengthening the business sector in the Dominican Republic.
A graduate of the University of Miami with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, she has built a solid track record in the financial and logistics sectors. She currently serves as Vice President of Finance at Sánchez Business & Corp., leading the administration, management, and optimization of the group's financial resources.
She began her career in logistics and regulatory affairs and later assumed operational responsibilities at the University of Miami Rathskeller, where she distinguished herself for her leadership in team and process management. Since joining Sánchez Business & Corp. in 2015, she has held various key positions: Banking Management Manager, Administrative Manager, and leader of the General Services Administrator (ASI) company, until reaching her current strategic role.
Her leadership has been recognized with important distinctions, such as the 2022 Best Leader Award from Kexford Company, and a special recognition from Sánchez Business & Corp. for her outstanding management and valuable contribution to the organization's growth.
She is an active member of the Bávaro–Punta Cana Lions Club and the National Association of Young Entrepreneurs (ANJE). Her experience, strategic vision, and commitment to financial excellence have been instrumental in the group's success and sustained expansion.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master's degree in International Business Administration from Florida International University, where she earned both degrees with highest honors: Magna Cum Laude and Summa Cum Laude. She began her professional career at Sánchez Business & Corp. at an early age, working in various strategic areas until assuming her current role as Purchasing Manager and Innovation Leader.
Her academic excellence and leadership skills have been recognized through her inclusion in prestigious honor societies, such as Beta Gamma Sigma (International Business Honor Society) and the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS). Her global vision was strengthened by her participation in the Young Americas Business Trust of the Organization of American States (OAS) in Washington, D.C., as part of a Fellowship program for young leaders from the continent.
Currently, she leads, with a strategic focus, the optimization of processes, resource management, and the implementation of innovative methodologies that strengthen competitiveness and promote sustainable growth for the business group.
